Kitchen in dark fumed oak

Architect: Black Architecture
Photographer: Magnus Omme

In a beautifully renovated townhouse in Vesterbro, we have crafted a kitchen that blends timeless aesthetics with modern details. Every solution is tailored to complement the home’s architecture and the owner’s unique wishes—always with a focus on timeless design and honest craftsmanship.

The kitchen is crafted in dark fumed oak, adding depth, warmth, and character to the bright space.
The wood’s natural grain and deep tones highlight the craftsmanship and create an elegant contrast to the room’s other elements.

The countertop is crafted from Pietra Grey marble, featuring subtle white veining that creates a harmonious balance with the dark wood.
This natural stone adds a touch of sophistication to the kitchen while offering durability and practicality, making it ideal for everyday use.

The tall cabinets in dark fumed oak extend from floor to ceiling, offering generous storage space.
At the same time, they contribute to a streamlined, minimalist aesthetic where visual distractions are eliminated. The recessed signature handle, an integral part of our design DNA, highlights the details of timeless craftsmanship and gives the kitchen a cohesive and refined expression.

At NicolajBo, we create bespoke kitchens tailored to the unique character of each home and the individual needs of its owners. This kitchen is an example of how we combine custom solutions, timeless design, and honest craftsmanship to create a result made to last for many years.
