Nicolaj Bo Heritage is a bespoke custom kitchen crafted from European ash veneer, where the grain is oriented to create a clean, linear expression. The veneer is then painted with a durable furniture lacquer, available in a beautifully curated palette of colors, adding to the unique character and craftsmanship of each custom kitchen design

The Heritage kitchen from Nicolaj Bo is designed with a focus on detail and quality. It is crafted from European ash veneer, carefully aligned to create a clean, linear expression with prominent grain patterns.
All edges on the countertops, drawers, and side panels are cut at an angle and meet in what is known in cabinetry as a mitre joint. This detail creates sleek, graphic lines and gives the otherwise solid construction a light and elegant appearance, a signature of Nicolaj Bo’s bespoke custom kitchens.

Wood
Wood is the fundamental element in our design. Veneer is a classic choice for cabinet doors, while solid wood is used for dovetailed drawers and countertops. In the Heritage kitchen, we use ash veneer as the visual foundation for the painted surfaces. The veneer can either be quarter-sawn or plain-sawn, and the choice of processing is crucial to the overall expression of the bespoke custom kitchen.
Colours
Painted surfaces add color, protection, and style to various materials. With our quality paint and versatile color selection, you can create everything from minimalist elegance to personalized and durable designs that complement any space. Our precise technique allows for a wide range of both aesthetic and functional expressions, perfect for enhancing bespoke custom kitchens.
Steel & Brass
We use various types of metal in kitchens to add both functionality and aesthetics. In the Heritage kitchen, steel is often chosen to create an exceptionally robust countertop. Our steel countertops are made from 5 mm stainless steel with a matte brushed surface, available in its natural silver color or an oxidized version. Brass is frequently used for handles, fixtures, and sinks, providing an elegant contrast to the natural oak.
Each and every product is designed and crafted in Denmark. It is important for us to retain our production in Denmark. We believe in the value of presence, and that it is through the collaboration of different expertise that we create the best product.
