Stiletto

Effortlessly light and grandiose

A kitchen that is elevated on legs and floats elegantly above the ground. With a horizontal design and unrivalled level of detail, this kitchen resembles a beautiful piece of furniture.

Stiletto

The floating design can be taken in either an international or a Scandinavian direction, all depending on whether you choose natural oak, oxidised oak, linoleum or brass as your material.

Details

The frame is a finely crafted construction in itself. The kitchen rests on an oak frame carried by conical, square legs, where the cross joints between frame and legs reveal the simple yet strong construction.

The construction of the drawer elements in the Stiletto kitchen, with the tapered interior construction, is the same as the Classic and Couture kitchens. But in the Stiletto kitchen, the drawers are wide, accentuating the horizontal and floating look.

Every time we start a new project, we follow a set process. It is a tried and tested method for us and we are keen to help you, giving you peace of mind from beginning to end.

Stiletto Materials

Wood

Wood is the core element in our designs. Veneer is a classic choice for kitchen fronts, while solid wood is used for tapered drawers and worktops. Depending on the look and feel you want for your Stiletto kitchen, we can design it using light natural oak or we can process the oak so that the look becomes darker and more golden, as seen in the oxidised or smoked oak. Whether you choose quarter-cut or flat-cut veneer also affects the overall look of the kitchen.

Brass

Brass is a mixture of zinc and copper that will patinate and change in appearance with the use of the kitchen. Brass is often used for the details in our kitchen designs, but with Stiletto, we have developed a unique verdigris brass that can be used on kitchen fronts and gable. This is a hand-held process, where each front is treated separately, thereby getting its own unique look. The fronts are treated with a lacquer to prevent the patination typical of standard brass.

Natural Stone

Natural stone is a raw material with a unique structure and sensitivity that will patinate over time. Each natural stone has its own individual outline of patterns, colours and veins, which are a natural part of the material’s charm. Our talented suppliers shape the raw material into elegant and distinctive worktops. Each natural stone is unique, and as the customer, you have the option to choose your raw plate head of production.

During the event 3daysofdesign in 2020, we presented the Stiletto kitchen in a unique version with a surface of oxidized brass. Read more about the thoughts and process behind this kitchen here.
